Farewell to Shadowlands

"So we got into the train--"

"And I remember thinking how funny it was that our people were probably in the same train though Lucy didn't know about it--"

RARGH I totally think of this scene all the time and I decided I had to draw it, so I did. Why try to skip dimensions via jewelry when I DUNNO MAYBE YOU CAN BE HIT BY A TRAIN?
So in the beginning, mostly out of being a lazybones, I was just going to draw the guys standing around with maybe a couple other people in a frame to show that they weren't in Abandoned Station, Lamesville. But then I tried to crowd it up just a little, and I liked seeing the Pevensies blending into a crowd. But notice that the crowd consists of a high percentage of BABIES AND PUPPIES. I mean, I KNOW that there are about a billion people on the train and at the station, but yes, puppies and babies, and also I gave EVERY SINGLE ONE of these background people a nice backstory or personality or familiar spark of humanity, just so you don't have the comfort of knowing that they might possibly have been dreaming of being hit by a train ever since they were little. That is, those of them who are not, I don't know, puppies and infants and that toddler-ish kid there. So, yes, I assure you that any of these people being hit by a train is very tragic for one reason or another. I assure you! When will I shut up? And has anyone noticed that "pensieve" is an anagram of "Pevensie?" I doubt it's deliberate.
